Miscellaneous Tools

This sub-section of the tool category will deal with tools that can primarily be purchased from most tool shops, D.I.Y centers or on-line specialists such as McMaster Carr  or Rutland Tool.

Depending on your location, there will be a particular shop or company that you will be comfortable in using for purchasing your tools.

I will also be dealing with specialized tools that are seldom purchased, such as a scribing mouse, transfer pointers and splines. This is by no means the complete selection of tools that you would use, but it would certainly put you in good stead to tackle the majority of projects that you are likely to encounter.

The above list of tools is a small fraction of what you will collect over a long period of time. Each project may lead to the making of a special circumstances tool. These tools in turn will be pushed to the back of your toolbox until the same situation occurs and once again it can be used.

As the project progresses I will update the tool section with any specialize tools that are needed during the building of the scale model.
